This year SALAM – Exclusive Properties, Lda is feeling grateful for the “birth” of our most recent project, BelaVista Retail Park, a development which, side by side with the 12-year-old BelaVista Office, aims to make a significant contribution to the renovation of the Alto da Bela Vista in Cacém, helping the area become a quality commercial destination within the Lisbon metro area, between Tagus Park and IC19.

Portugal is the world champion in Hip Hop Unite Adult Division.
The Feel It Crew team, part of the Feel It Dance Company, located in BelaVista Retail Park, achieved the 1st place in the Hip Hop Unite World Championship, which took place in Óbidos at the end of October.

Overall, Portugal won 6 Gold medals, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze.
For the past five years Feel It Dance Company have brought the largest Portuguese delegation to the Championship, whose finals took place in Portugal this year for the first time.
Out of the 7 Feel It crews, led by their mentor and choreographer Fernando Lopes (www.feelitcompany.pt/sobre/), 6 made it to the World Top 10 and brought home both a Gold and a Silver medals.

Feel It Dance Company was created in 2007 by Fernando Lopes with dance as its common goal. Feel It Dance Company is made up of individuals who dance several styles, including HipHop, Ballet, Kizomba, Modern Dance, Salsa and House, among others. The company moved to BelaVista Retail Park’s 2nd floor earlier this year.
The newest Fitness Hut will open in BelaVista Retail Park on September 13th, with a total area of 1255 sqm. In this club you will find all the conditions for successful workout sessions: gym, personal training, open studio and HIIT zone. If you’d like to become a member, don’t wait! BelaVista Retail Park, the new reference point in the Sintra region, had its official opening on July 9th.
Among BelaVista Retail Park’s shops and services are Fitness Hut (scheduled to open in September), the Altissimo climbing gym, the furniture store Feira dos Sofás, the Feel It Dance Company, the São Francisco Xavier pharmacy, CIN coatings, Delicatesse retaurante, Europcar e the SPACar car treatment service.
This development means the creation of more than 100 new jobs and a €3.6+ million investment, and represents an important milestone in the urban transformation of the Cacém-São Marcos axis.
The event began with a fun open air zumba and toning class, by Fitness Hut, followed by a series of dynamic performances by Feel It Dance Company. Not even that morning’s high temperatures slowed the participants high energy and good mood.
Mr. Eduardo Quinta Nova, a Sintra municipality alderman, made a s’peech, followed by some words from Mr. Manuel Ferrão, a representative of Salam – Exclusive Properties, the retail park’s developer. After that there was the customary ribbon cutting.
Aside from a toast in the Delicatesse restaurant, the guests and visitors also had the chance to try out rock climbing at Altissimo, one of the largest climbing gyms in the country.
After this successful event “Salam has already begun the preparations of a series of additions and alterations to the retail park, to take place in the next few years, including more food options and many more parking spaces, so that BelaVista Retail Park can become an even more unavoidable stop for those who work and live in this area of Greater Lisbon,” says Sofia Necel, from the management.
It is with great pleasure that Salam – Exclusive Properties, Lda announces the official grand opening of BelaVista Retail Park, taking place on Saturday, July 9th. The opening’s program includes several free activities, organized by the retail park’s shops and services:
10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Zumba e Toning class with instructor Tatiana (Fitness Hut)
11 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. HipHop dance show, several groups (Feel It Dance Company)
In 2022 BelaVista Retail Park will open in the Sintra municipality. In the meantime, a few shops are already open, namely, Feira dos Sofás, CIN and Europcar, supporting by over 130 parking spaces.
Located in Estrada de Paço de Arcos (N249-3), by the exit 9 to IC 19, and with easy access to A5, A16, and CREL motorways, BelaVista Retail Park is situated right across from business centre BelaVista Office, very close to several offices and warehouse complexes in Alto da Bela Vista, the Taguspark scinece and technology hub, and the Instituto Superior Técnico university campus.
In the next few months more businesses will open: the pharmacy S. Francisco Xavier, Delicatesse restaurant, the Altissimo rock climbing gym, the Feel It Dance Company e and the Fitness Hut gym.
Preparation work for the second phase of development are already underway. The plans include expanding the parking lot, improving the access to the retail park’s entrance, setup an outdoor eating area, open a bakery/pastry shop e making the Cacém/Tagus Park connection an architectural reference in the region.
BelaVista Retail is is developed by Salam – Exclusive Properties, Lda, a family business with experience in real estate development since 1990. The BelaVista Office business centre is one of its other projects in the region.
The company’s goal with this project is “to make a contribution to the vitality of retail and the creation of a new hub in the Cacém e do Alto da BelaVista area, through an inviting and attractive space, and most of all highly convenient for all who live and work in this area and the surrounding region,” says Sofia Necel, one of the managers.
